So I just got back from my summer vacation yesterday and it was amazing!
If you haven't done white water rafting before, then i highly recommend it, especially on the Ottawa river! It def gets the blood and adrenaline pumping. I was fortune enough to remain in the raft the whole time but my dad and brother were not soo lucky. They both fell out on the first monstrous rapid. The next day was spend lying on the beach in the sun and kayaking around the lake. After a couple days there, we headed down to Vermont to do some camping. Let me first of all say that I now truly know why Vermont is called the green mountain state, its filled will picturesque mountains and absolute stunning scenery. The state park we stayed at was perfect. With soo many things to do there I hardly every slept in. The lake was beautiful and the water just sparkling, so of course I took the kayak out every day we had good weather, and spent a lot of time at the beach.
Overall, this years vacation was spectacular, leaving me well rested, energized and filled with adventure.
